Mercedes has decided that it's time for them to expand their lineup with the new CLA 250 Sport. The model will be making its first debut at the Frankfurt Motor show this year. The price range will be around $55,000 (which is €42,304).

The CLA 250 Sport has been equipped with an "AMG Line" package, red details on the AMG front and rear apron and "Sport" badges for the front wings. Mercedes has decided to add 18-inch AMG light-alloy wheels which are wrapped in 235/40R18 tires.

A 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine has been mounted in order to deliver 211 horsepower and around 258 pound-feet of torque, with a 7G-DCT dual-clutch transmission attached to it, a modified exhaust system and AMG speed-sensitive sports steering.

The CLA Class has been unveiled this year at the Detroit Auto Show which was previewed previously by the Concept Style Coupe. The price for the standard CLA 250 is $29.900.
